Three tips to brewing the perfect cup of tea:
1) Timing is ( almost ) everything! The proper steeping time is one of the most important components to brewing the perfect cup of tea. Brew time ranges from different types of teas. Rooibos teas typical have a longer brew time than green tea.
2) Temperature Temperature Temperature. using water that is too hot causes the tea to burn which releases a bitter flavor ; However. Tea that are steeped with water not hot enough results in a flavorless tea.
3) More isn't always better When steeping tea a proper tea spoon of leaves for 6 ounces of water will be enough for high quality loose lea teas. If you don't use enough tea it will result in a weak brew and to many leaves will result in a bitter or overbearing flavor.
